Yeah "Primarily". But some innocents have already gotten it in the US. So how many non-gays have to catch it before we take action and quarantine and contact trace the sick?

The poll is worded badly. You have to choose between "primarily among homosexuals" or "Just as much among the general population". No in between.

Since there was no in between choice I voted for Just as much among the general population". Which actually could happen if the disease becomes endemic to the US rodent population.

There is no environmental spread of HIV. It's a bloodborne infection.

And the infection rate after transfusion of a pint (454mL) of infected blood is 100%.
