Raised $400k in quarter, spent $750k, $800k cash on hand which is largely his loan

Robby Starbuck spent $200k on his write-in campaign.

I’m still stumped on the Supreme Court/Court of Appeals/Court of Criminal Appeals.
If “Replace” wins, the governor appoints a replacement subject to confirmation by the legislature.
If “Retain” wins, the incumbent keeps his or her seat.
Harwell SUCKS. She is a career politician and establishment RINO to the core. Still sucking off the gubmint teet as a TVA flunkie. Handed her House seat to a Demonrat to make Nashville an all-Demonrat delegation in the legislature and refused to redraw her Demonrat friends out to give Republicans any other seats.
Only Andy Ogles has the Conservative credentials !
DEFEAT HARWELL AND WINSTEAD !
What’s Harwell’s credentials ? Decades and decades of being an establishment hack, and now she comes out for term limits ? WHUT ? Her ads smearing Andy Ogles are disgusting (”Washington Insider ? WHUT ?). Jacked up sales taxes ? (Which amounted to something like over 1 cent). Where was Harwell in cutting taxes, I don’t remember that. I don’t remember Harwell doing anything to rid Nashville of the Demonrat parasites that were protected through gerrymandering, leaving me with ZERO representation in the legislature. Her bizarre protection of Dem John Mark Windle and attacks against his Conservative GOP opponent.
Tax hikes, pushing driver licenses for illegals. Refusing to speak up about the sodomite agenda at the TVA, lest she have to resign (she doesn’t want to lose her cushy job). At least Ogles gave up his job to run.
When a pollster asked me what was the best thing about Harwell, I told her that it was the fact she was no longer in office.
She was better than her predecessors only because they were horrible tin pot Demonrat dictators, especially Boss Hogg Naifeh and Ned McWherter. The sole respectable Dem leader was Senate Speaker/Lt Gov. John Wilder (until his unfortunate last term).
By the time someone amasses a “long enough” record in office, it means they’ve probably been in too long. Harwell has served decades and needs to stay retired. Ogles has served as a county Mayor and knows the local issues. I’m more than willing to give him a shot. I don’t expect he’s going to want to sit there in the seat for the next 20+ years. He may only serve as few as two terms and run for Governor in 2026 or Senator in 2028 when Blackburn will presumably retire, as she’ll be nearing 80. We’ll easily see in that if he’s a stalwart Conservative or another phony like Zach Wamp was.
I’m glad to see the State GOP did their job in running those two out. Did you ever seen anyone come into the state and just as quickly depart as fast as Ortagus ? Starbuck did indeed scream “phony” from Jump Street (why I thought you description of Ogles was more fitting of “Starbuck”).
Why Winstead didn’t get disqualified with his contributions to Junior Ford, I have no idea.
