Don’t fall for the nonsense that Kansas is solid Red. It’s not. Many, many Republicans are descendants of the Free Staters immigrants from Massachusettes, Connecticut, etc. In other words Liberals.

Makes you wonder how no Dem for president has won in KS since LBJ in 1964. The last time a Dem won a KS senate seat was 1938. I believe these are the longest such active streaks in the U.S.

Not the same story for Kansas Governor as you know quite well. Kansas Republican Senators cannot be called real Conservatives. I did not vote for Senator Moran today. He will win, but he is an establishment champion and does not represent the people of Kansas.
