Did the cop have probable cause to believe that a crime had been committed? (NO, not having read the whole account.) The cop was completely out of line. No warrant, no look.
I’m assuming you mean the fed. The other cops were poetic.
They were answering a call about a slob, a derilict asking about guns. I think that’s probable cause.
If they’re (ATF) is going to do that, they really need to clean up their act. I’d suggest:
1. A shower and shave before work.
2. A coat and tie and nice shoes. Actually a suit would be better.
3. A courteous and calm manner.
You know, ‘dress for success.’
