Yep. We would either tell jokes or play Eye Spy. Anything really to keep the kids from asking, “Are we there, yet?”
At the start of our trips, we used to give each kid a few bucks in quarters. Every time they asked “Are we there yet” they would have to pay us a quarter. They got to keep the money they had left at the end of the trip. That sure cut down the “Are we there yet?” questions!
