Ukraine joining NATO was a red line for Russia as they said many times. And our wonderful VP made a speech saying Ukraine was joining NATO. Why would you do this unless you were trying to start a war?

Putin never said he was invading Ukraine because of NATO. It was “nazis” or something. And Ukraine DID NOT join NATO. So why is he still there.
NATO is just BS. Its a land grab.

Germany adamantly opposed their accession to NATO. It was never going to happen. Putin is too aware to believe otherwise.

If the local bully threatened to try to beat me up if I found a strong friend to help protect me, you can bet your ass I'd try to find a strong friend to help protect me. Russia threatening to invade doesn't excuse them from actually invading....
