...and resurrecting the hated 1994 AWB is just the thing to get the RKBA voter to the polls.

The AWB of 2022 Bill is far from a simple resurrection of AWB 94. This is the nut of it:

1) It shall be unlawful for a person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a semiautomatic assault weapon.

Further, there is no sunset provision.
