Yes. COVID has stimulated lots of speculation, lots of “it’s possible that”, or “I feel that” publications that would not have seen the light of day were it not for all the psychodrama.
The big advances were 1) obvious airborne transmission; 2) dexamethasone in June 2020; 3) Prone positioning on a ventilator; and 4) widespread infection leading to a decrease in severity.
I’ve only seen one death in the past eight months.
