By “high fat”, what do you mean? What are your macros and how many calories a day do you eat?
By hi fat, I mean unrestricted animal fats from bacon, etc. I don’t eat much vegetable oil at all. I use a lot of butter.
My typical day starts with two eggs cooked with bacon grease for butter. I also drink coffee. That sorts my digestive issues out. For lunch, sometimes I will have bacon or even a grilled cheese sandwich as a treat. For dinner, usually a seasoned meat, steamed vegetables, and whatever other savory stuff my wife makes. I eat probably a pound of cashews as a snack every week. I don’t know what that all adds up to calorie wise because I don’t pay that much attention to what I eat anymore as long as it is within the fence so to speak.
As far as cheating, I don’t consider it cheating anymore. My wife and I will split a Hershey’s bar on occasion and we love it. I honestly don’t pay that much attention to what I eat anymore. Carbs make me feel bloated and so they aren’t much of a temptation. Everything in moderation though. Last night I had chicken teriyaki and rice from a local restaurant. I eat to live now instead of living to eat.
