Covid-19 itself is just about completely gone. The Variants are all that’s left and the present Covid-19 vaccine doesn’t protect you from them as the Variants can get around the presently used Covid-19 vaccine.
That’s why you hear about people that are vaccinated getting “Covid” but it’s actually a Variant. The media won’t stop saying Covid which confuses people.
Perhaps they like it.
The Variants are weaker than the original Covid-19 and continue to emerge weaker as new strains develop.
Almost all reported confirm cases now are a Variant.
Joe Biden had a Variant, President Trump had the original Covid-19 which was much more debilitating.
It’s is Not known at this point whether a Covid-19 vaccine can offer relief from symptoms caused by a Variant.

Without a follow-up titer we don’t know who had what.
Right now, we have BA.4 and BA.5, subvariants of the Omicron variant. Supposedly, these boosters would protect against Omicron. Will we have the Pi variant this fall? I don’t know. Maybe we’ll have Omicron subvariants BA.6 and BA.7.
With Omicron being so contagious and usually rather mild, won’t most have natural immunity by fall, anyway? The booster might make sense for frail elderly people and those with certain conditions, but ... I guess we’ll see what the situation is this fall.
