I was dx’d with UC 28 yrs ago, and don’t have any more issues with arthritis than any other senior citizen at this point, but it doesn’t hurt to keep ahead of the curve, for sure.

There is no excuse for IBD. Doctors are idiots and patients do no favors for themselves by ignoring symptoms & self-treating via OTC poisons.
If you believe that you have IBD, fire your doctor and find an ND immediately. AMA medical knowledge on the gut is medieval.
