Who would have been your pick to head the FBI?

I would have looked for a proven conservative pro-law enforcement police chief of a large city or a similar minded Sheriff. Since this is an appointed position and not a civil service position, this would not have to be anyone who was already in the federal govt.

The black Sheriff who wears the cowboy hat all the time, his name escapes me right now!! He is NO NONSENSE and would have CLEANED OUT the FBI!!
