The original actor, Don Harvey, had an obligation to another show and wasn't available to film.
The new Jeff is played by actor Pat Healy.
I don't know anything about the new guy, but the original Jeff seemed much more menacing and physically imposing.
Thanks for the update on the re-cast character - tough to follow the reference during the show without knowing that.
I’m just now finishing the episode; IMO the recast of Jeff was a good fit for his role. Old Jeff was good for creepy and menacing, but new Jeff seemed to be the right man for the episode.
