It sounds like the Cardinals are trying to develop the old-time work ethic, where players would on their own want to improve to be the best they can be.
They want to get away from players who want their $10 million contracts, but don’t want to practice and improve.
If you have to pay somebody to do something odds are they aren’t going to stick with it.
