I moved up to the hills of Appalachia and now have many friends whose families moved here in 1700s. We have become good friends and have so much fun together.

We laugh we tease we share we work. Every day I see God here. I hear God in the wind. There is evidence of God every where.

I never experienced this in the city.

My cup runneth over!

I’m a Appalachian guy also. Usually I say “mountains” for my area. Lots of vertical in my neighborhood.

My post about the “Hunger Games” is really about the sense that these mountains are so remote, politically and culturally from the Capitol.
