Obviously she must ensure she is on point with that she’s about to say regarding this candidate. She’s already errored by not revealing her own conflict of interest since the candidate appears to be a family member. She doesn’t necessarily know the family history and admittedly doesn’t know if the resume is bogus. She should reveal her conflict of interest, stick to objective facts but keep her personal feelings out of it. She must keep her feelings about what she believes of this candidate’s white privilege out of the discussion.
