I'm reminded of the woman in Seattle that was hit and killed by a car on the freeway during the BLM protests. They were protesting (illegally) but the police closed off the freeway for safety.

But a car ran the roadblocks. IIRC the woman's family sued (tried to sue, is suing?) the police for not maintaining a safe area.

I imagine one dead or seriously injured person would get this bridge open again.

They were having a dance party in the middle of I5 when a guy in a Jag took 2 of them out. They immediately start screaming they are under attack by white supremacists. Turns out the driver was black, but the car was white, so there was that.
