I have now bought into the prepper mindset and devoted significant resources into food preps.

Canned tuna and salmon will keep for years and still taste the same. I did a test and mine kept in cool/dry storage for 10 years and I could not tell the difference in a new vs old taste test. Tomato products do not keep well because the acid will eat through a large percentage of cans in a year or two. Wheat pasta also does not keep well. Too much oil and it goes rancid.
