The Covid-19 vaccine doesn’t protect from a variant as the variants can get around it.

The good news is, the variants are much weaker than the original Covid-19.

Perhaps I wasn’t clear - I’m not vaxxed.

And yes - my wife got over covid a few months ago and it was very mild. My son got it in 2021 and almost was put on a ventilator.

That is the scary thing - it affects people so differently. (My son’s GF got it when he did, and felt lousy for two days - both healthy 20-somethings).

Same thing with the vax it seems. Some folks get the vaxes and boosters and are just fine. Others get one shot and end up with heart problems. Two younger folks I know (35 and 28) have new heart problems after the vax, but were otherwise healthy.
