Had a similar experience last year at The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs CO where the outdoor dining emporium near all the hot spring spas closed from 1:30 to 4:30pm. We had just had a massage and were looking forward to drinks/lunch around the spa area but chose to leave instead. I have no intention of ever going back and would not encourage anybody else to spend their time/money there, either.
We stayed at the Paws Up Resort in Montana last September for three nights.it was my wife’s retirement present. Same general experience — understaffed, not enough maintenance staff, things broken in our cabin. There was even no way to light the wood in the fireplace. It was very expensive, but not worth it.
The Hill’s Resort yesterday looked very nice. Cute cabins on the lake, good service, and gorgeous scenery. I’d like to spend a few nights there.
