I wish that were the reason. But people have their pick of jobs and pay today. There are so many jobs available to the American people that joining the military isn’t as attractive. Just wait a year or two when the jobs disappear.
The one possible benefit that the regime will surely misplay. If we have to reduce our forces we have plenty of fat to cut. Get us out of NATO now. This pointless, for America, alliance should have been reformulated without us 30 years ago. It is an incredibly destabilizing force on the European continent today and has been co-opted by the EU and DC globalists. Save those trillions and get out before NATO starts WWIII. The Biden regime will most likely continue concentrating scarce forces there.

But, but, but, there are those hundreds of thousands of trans people who will spend their entire military careers on sick leave getting their transgender surgeries and drug cocktails at taxpayer expense. That should do the trick.
They really are just that arrogant, just that out of touch, and just that stupid. That describes all the wokeratti. Disney thinks it can go to war with parents. Netflix thinks it can shove all kinds of disgusting perversity down the audience's throat. The senior ranks of the military demonize straight white men and Southerners most of all. All of them go miles out of their way to attack their most important constituents. All of them are suffering massively and will continue to suffer massively as a result. Netflix dropped 70%. Disney dropped 50%. The US military is just starting to feel the repercussions. It will get much worse.
If the neocons manage to get us into a WW3 situation (which I believe to be the case), they will be forced to resurrect the draft. This is likely to provoke a similar reaction against the draft that we experienced during the Vietnam years. Are those pushing for war unaware of this very real possibility? They had best take this into consideration in their planning, because I see that as a very likely scenario.
