Another issue is how are the Ukrainians going to support the A10s with maintenance and ammo? DU API (Depleted Uranium, Armor Piercing Incendiary) rounds are the primary tank-killing round, although the rounds used most often in Iraq and Afghanistan were HEI (High Explosive Incendiary) rounds due to the targets serviced.
Apparently even the Ukrainians don’t want them, they want the F16.

I’m against giving our Warthogs, or any F-16s to Ukraine. Maybe something like the P-51 Mustang, though I wouldn’t give them that either.
In fact, I’m against giving Ukraine ANYTHING!
