“Public education is as bad as, if not worse than, you’ve heard”
Why should that bother me? As long as I pay taxes for the schools, I’m sending my kids there, and they can deal with the life-long consequences of me trying to get my money’s worth.
Just not worth the step-down in lifestyle for me, to keep my kids out of those schools. I deserve the boat, and the F150 to pull the boat, and large house to have a place to park the boat and the F150.
As someone actively working against the government school system, your comment is spot on. Government schools are Americans’, including a majority of “conservatives”, favorite welfare program. The sad thing is that all those conservative welfare queens really don’t care what’s happening in their schools. They simply repeat “our schools are different” like so many chanting Hari Krishnas bouncing around on the streets.
