[If Hogan had a vote on Trump’s judges, and therefore was a factor in Roe vs. Wade, I might be tempted (actually would be tempted) to DEFEND him, as I do with Romney and Collins...knowing that a Democrat replacement would have PREVENTED Roe from being overturned.

But Hogan is USELESS to conservatives at the national level...so he can stuff it.]


Hogan had a chance at the Senate. He chose not to run against Van Hollen. If it’s because of 2024, I don’t get it. It’s always easier to get a job when you have a job.

I don’t think he’s got any chance at the White House GOP nomination, but a Senate seat couldn’t possibly hurt. And it’s a backup plan if he wants to stay in politics.

Agree, he’s still a very popular governor and could have taken a Senate seat...but forget GOP nomination, he’s demented even thinking he would have a chance.

But it shows who he is, which isn’t good. In the Senate, he may have been another Romney - a jerk, but far more useful to MAGA than a Democrat. He won’t even do that for us.
