Nice. I have to go to Farragut Park about 25 miles away to find a decent 1000 yard range. Not that I’m shooting at that distance these days.
Our club is about 50 miles west of us, but it’s worth the drive if we make a day of it. Then there’s the BBQ place on the way home. Simply outstanding.
I still keep my hand in at 600 but it ain’t as easy as it used to be.

We set up on the back porch and shoot at a target down by the gate going into one of our pastures. Measured 104 yards. 16-inch steel hanging target. I have NEVER hit it with a handgun (of any kind). Can ping it and make it swing all day with a “rifle”....
