I agree, Ukraine was just a convenient proxy being used by US intelligence to cause a shutdown of Nordstream2 and prevent Eurasian economic integration. So far it’s working in the short term, but I doubt it will in the long term. Europe is pretty much stuck in the Western monetary system, and is going to need our Federal Reserve to buy EU bonds to keep them afloat, so for now the major EU countries will go along with it. But let’s see how long the European people themselves accept this, since it is leading to economic ruin for them cutting off Russian energy.

A recession is not “economic ruin.” Russia, OTOH, risks losing its best energy customers and faces another economic collapse. Russia would already be bankrupt if not for Soros EU funding.
