"AHS is rescinding the Immunization of Workers for COVID-19 Policy, effective July 18,2022. As a result, workers will no longer be required to be immunized for COVID-19 as a condition of employment," read the email title "Immunization Policy Update" sent Monday afternoon to the staff of Alberta Health Services. The email was provided to Rebel News by a long-time AHS employee.
The email from interim AHS CEO Mauro Chiles, published in full below, makes no reference to rehiring or compensating anyone terminated for resisting the now-defunct COVID policy...

Same here in the states - this garbage must stop.
And those responsible must be destroyed.
Well isn’t that nice of them.

For travel by air from Canada to the U.S., I believe the above is still the most current policy.... On June 12, 2022, they set aside the requirement for a negative WuFlu test before getting on a plane but said the ‘proof of vax status is still in effect’....
“The CDC order from December 2, 2021, requiring persons aged two and above to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States, is rescinded, effective June 12, 2022, at 12:01AM ET. This means that starting at 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, air passengers will not need to get tested and show a negative COVID-19 test result or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19 prior to boarding a flight to the United States regardless of vaccination status or citizenship. Of note, CDC’s Order requiring proof of vaccination for non-citizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect.”
And here is what it says on about point of entry crossings other than by air (June 13, 2022 was the latest update)... https://ca.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information-canada-3/
“All non-immigrant, non-U.S. citizen air travelers to the United States must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to the United States. In addition, fully vaccinated foreign nationals may also enter the United States at land ports of entry (POE) and ferry terminals.”
As far as I know, yes. But I don’t think they are still testing. Which makes it completely worthless.
“Nowadays maybe the form of government matters less than whether the power holders hate their people’s guts.”
Great point.
One of the issues with military dictatorships (Latin American style) is you never knew whether you would get one that cared about the people or one that hated them.
It looks like we are going third world—and will have those types of third world problems.
You bring up a very good point. There was little talk in the beginning of any adverse effects, and for many CEOs with government back stopping any risk of financial harm, why not?
And, with the media effectively muzzling any questions or concerns raised by doctors outside of the Gov/Pharma, the average boss didn’t hear any negative views for months - if ever.
So their attitude towards anyone who questioned the ‘experimental vax’ was to likely mark them as a kook. We humans panic easily.
Now, I’ve got to run to buy more hand sanitizer.
One of our adult sons and his wife helped a neighbor take a personal live on boat from California to Victoria for the summer this month.
Then, they flew back to California via SeaTac instead of Canada as per the advise of their travel agent due to Canada’s even more insane Covid rules than ours.
A sidebar to their trip back to the Sac area: Their SW plane landed 22 minutes early and taxied to the gate for immediate plane departure. They left the airport before their scheduled landing.
Their pilot said that was due to the lack of flying passenger planes in that normal heavy flight pattern.
Wonder if this means that Canada’s Deep State expects the lid to blow off the real rate of vaxx injuries and deaths shortly....
That and the economic implosion would be enough to forget about the vax if the decision were dumped on me.
