Persons in cognitive decline often benefit from psychostimulants such as Adderol or Ritalin. They don’t affect the underlying illness, which is still progressive and irreversible. But they can increase alertness and ability to concentrate in a declining adult for a period of time, just as they do for students cramming for finals.
Nothing fancy here. Basic stuff. Used frequently in nursing homes. No reason in the world not to assume Biden is on a regimen of stimulants.
