Sheriff Cutler’s accomplished law enforcement career spans over forty years and includes service at The Travis County Sheriff’s Office, The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission as well as eleven years of management and executive level experience. The Hays County Sheriff’s Office employs approximately 350 civilian and commissioned staff.
A native Texan, Sheriff Cutler was raised in the small community of Hutchins and graduated in 1973 from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He began his career with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) in 1974 rising to the rank of Captain. The tool of corruption is the "law enforcement grants" mwhich the feds dole out to local police depts, and which they risk losing if they don't jump when a fed agency tells them too.
Federal grants need to be abolished. All of them, for whatever purpose. They are the tools by which the feds get state and local agencies to do unconstitutional things for them.
