Yeah, this is a serious one. Hope the grid holds up or we are all screwed.
The strain on the grid from increased a/c usage in the afternoon and evening hours of highest temperatures has caused some of my cable TV channels to pixelate/freeze.
I have had to reboot my cable multiple times during those hours. ...Seems the strain on the grid reduces the satellite power for capturing signals and outputting them to the cable network. After temps cool down late at night, the signals are back to normal.
btw, I’m in Grapevine watching my grass burn every day.
