Or the VAST amounts of copper needed to build them and the electrical infrastructure. Massive copper shortages are predicted and it takes TWELVE years to open a new copper mine. You simply cannot open up enough copper mines quickly enough to make the transition.
Same with rare earth elements. You you mine massive amounts of the earth’s crust to get the elements needed for “green” power systems and EVs.
Then there is the end of life problem for solar cells and windmills. There is no recycle solution for the spent solar panels in 20 or 30 years and they are highly toxic. The landscape will be covered with dead windmills in 50 years time, the blades all worn out and thrown into gigantic landfills.
This whole “green” fetish is utter insanity and driven by a global warming hoax. But there is a lot of money to be made and it appears unstoppable. At least until people can’t heat or cool their homes and can’t afford an EV.
“At least until people can’t heat or cool their homes and can’t afford an EV.”
When do you think that will be...th8s winyer or next?
I’m hoping you’re right, at that at some point people demand a stop to this insanity. They got a 30 year headstart on us while we laughed at their ‘theory’.
If we had a fair media, there would be more exploration of this coming disaster.
