Armie Hammer has been “cut off” from the family dynasty established by his great-grandfather, Armand Hammer.
“His dad won’t help him anymore and he’s been cut off, so he got to work,” a source told People of the actor who is reported to be working in the Cayman Islands as a timeshare salesman.
While the well may have run dry for Armie following the “cannibal” scandal that landed him in rehab, the Hammer family continues to live high on the hog thanks to great-grandad Armand establishing himself as a billionaire oil tycoon in the 1950s with Occidental Petroleum, running the company from 1957 until his death in 1990.

Use your fortunate situation to create something of your own and for yourself. You have the ability to attend the best schools and get the best training possible for whatever dreams you might have.
He could be in a world of trouble and, being over 40, means his options are limited.

Occidental Pete was Armand’s baby and he was a great international mover and shaker. One thing I remember about him was that he helped the Russians a lot. In gratitude they gave him several Faberge Eggs and he had the best collection outside Russia. When he got old he gave his collection to the Russian national museum. Straight up guy who did a lot of good in the world.
