I was also pointing out, as some may remember, that Bitem's nomination was the Dems' way of proving to America that they could nominate an ape AND get it elected and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
The underlying meaning of that is now becoming clear: this party and this administration - and its 'friends' - are trampling all over the law and the Constitution to prove in November that there is nothing anyone can do about it. You say: Oh! There will be a Red Wave in the November elections!
I sincerely hope you and all the pundits are correct. If that is true we can expect many in Congress, the DoJ, the FBI, perhaps even in the media to go to prison or be hung.
I don't see any of the scurly miscreants acting as if they fear that that might happen. To the contrary they are already confidently declaring victory and expanding their atrocities. Just as an example, a sometimes missionary to the third world went to D.C. on Jan 06 and apparently was one waved into the Capitol building by police. Later he saw his picture on the FBI page asking for identification. Thinking himself innocent he quickly turned himself in. He was not arrested and charged with minor misdemeanors.
Apparently it didn't stop there; the FBI continued to harass him. He just wanted to get through the ordeal. Before he went to court the FBI added the felony charge of Obstructing Congress. He was upset; his lawyer advised him to decrease the stress and plead guilty, pointing out that he had cooperated after turning himself in... he might just get a few months. He decided to do that and plead guilty.
Ready to face trial and rescue what he could from an unforseen disaster, he set his crushed hopes on his plea being in his favor. Before he appeared for his sentencing he learned that a terrorism charge had been added to his guilty plea and he was facing years in prison.
He committed suicide!
Imagine the joy in D.C. knowing they had rid themselves of another worthless Trump voter!!
