These are people who immediately, frequently and readily (almost eagerly) take offense at everything.

I know people like that and they are certainly disturbed and unbalanced.

Maybe it's a crying need for attention but, who goes through life with SO MUCH sense of inadequacy and inferiority that they feel compelled to take everything as a personal affront???

My mom's youngest sister was like that and we all stayed away from her!
