I am owed for well over a year about $300 for an amended return and about $900 from a current return filed the last week in March. I have adjusted my withholdings to ensure I pay a small amount each year. I saw a report that they have 23 million return backlog. From now on if my check doesn’t that clear that is no problem.

I’ll never go for direct deposit. No reason to make it too easy to take money out of my checking account.
