They can’t fire him. He’s an elected official. Can you fire your elected congresscritter? No. The sheriff can only be removed in an election, and the Mexicans won’t vote against him. Mexicans in LA County make up nearly 50% of the vote.
I agree. Most states require a recall or a resignation if convicted of a crime since they are elected officials.
