[The remarkable and extraordinarily rare event is when the investigation results in ANY form of discipline for the officer(s) involved. Normally they just get a paid couple of weeks vacation (suspended with pay) or moved to a desk job for a few weeks until the incident blows over and is forgotten.]

That was before before George Floyd. Today, nobody really knows what happens to cops over fairly minor slip-ups. In theory, unless the patient suffered serious harm or died, a slap on the wrist ought to do it. But in a world of Only Black Lives Matter, this guy could lose his job and his pension. And departmental morale will fall off a cliff, resulting in cops spending all their time actively avoiding interactions with any potential criminals.

The LEO CUFFED, put in wrist restraints, an EMT at an Emergency room entrance. You missed the point entirely. A fellow citizen was brutalized by a bully, and you are fine with that? Shame! HOW would you feel the same if a car came to your office and CUFFED you in front of everybody? The LEO should be let go as a bad example to the rest of the BLUE LINE gang members.
