Sorry, edgy. I apologize.

Back in the 60s there were lots of reports of sightings and abductions reporte and then there were the crop circles and such. They went away as soon as they appeared.

Strange lights in the sky just never do pan out.

I saw swamp gas once when I was a teenager. Took my girlfriend and another couple to see it.

It was huge...much taller than the car and almost as wide. Looked like a ball of fire.

Since it appeared as we were leaving (behind us), I think it was methane ignited by the exhaust from the car (my dad's '62 T-Bird). I don't think cars had spark arrestors back in those days.

Scared the hell out of my girlfriend. We became much close after that experience. I think she was genuinely impressed.

Scared the hell out of me too for a while, but I hid it well from my GF.;-)

No prob about the edginess. We're all on edge nowadays.

That's why I post these weird UFO threads. Takes away some of the seriousness of the times...at least so far.
