Have to say I am disappointed by the jackasses who can’t get with the program and understand that “UFO” does not automatically mean ‘aliens’.

And careers have been destroyed because for some reason the government and military have steadfastly punished anyone who has reported a UFO >>> even if it is documented on video <<<.

Reasons for this in the past have included silencing people who have seen secret experimental aircraft. Early sightings of the U2 and SR-71 were actively suppressed by the government.

Another possible reason is that some of these sightings are truly unknown and they get suppressed because the government doesn’t want to admit that there are technologies that can frustrate and defeat the best we have to offer. It’s a bugger to ask Congress for a trillion in defense budgets every year when you can’t stop the (apparent) drones overflying Navy ships off of San Diego.

The answer to the problem can’t be found when people get punished for talking about it. This move by Congress is a good first step to ending the retaliatory acts of the military against its own people.

Amen.

The DOD (the AF specifically) has really controlled this narrative for a very long time.

We don't know what these sightings are. Some of them may be our own advanced aircraft and others may be things yet to be identified or understood.

All that said, the government has seemingly had no problem in destroying lives and careers over this matter.

It's time to put this behind us.
