Shocking. Someone clearly guilty of high dollar, white collar crime is actually getting appropriate punishment for that crime. It doesn’t happen very often.
Maybe people like Billy deBlassio and his bride better watch their backs. Maybe they won’t get away with fleecing the government for pocket cash.

Municipal mayor is generally nonpartisan in Georgia. But he’s a Democrat even if, as mayor, he didn’t officially have to declare one or the other to run.

Oh, and I’ve met the guy, know some of the people involved in the cityhood process for Stonecrest at the state legislature level. It is a relatively new city, about 5 years old.
