They will get it one of these years. When I was in London on business in 1991 there was a large, LOUD, march on one of the main London streets leading away from Hyde Park, where there had been a large rally for Scottish Independence.

This has been going on since the Romans invaded Brittania.

Maybe their Scottish Accent was way too thick to understand

Scotland can’t afford to go it alone unless it re/joins the EU.

And if it re/joins the EU, how is that independence?

What Scottish independence is really about is reversing Brexit.

With the PIIGS about to implode and the rest of their economies hitting the skids, the EU needs cash.

We would see many of these incidents should Trump become Speaker. Won’t happen as there are far too many RINOs to get him elected. Preserving the Elite is secondary to everything else, including Preserving the Republic. (It would be fun to watch, though!)

A few years ago I spent four days in London and had the time to visit Parliament; there’s a gallery above the House of Commons where you can watch the goings on. Sadly, it wasn’t Wednesday, so no Prime Minister’s Questions, which would be highly entertaining, but it was really interesting nevertheless. I’m always surprised at how articulate your average Brit is compared to your average American. They are much better at the Mother Tongue than we are!
