Seems to me there’s is or not the will to live....it’s a choice ...so at what point is suicide any different than a drug addict or alcoholic who are taking their own life every day....it’s just a slower death?
Not “should”, but free to end their lives if that’s what they want.
I’m not for compelling to do so,nor am I for compelling them to continue living in misery if they don’t want to. Their choice.

One of the main concerns I have for legalized suicide is that it will morph into a responsibility to commit suicide.
The Nazis had this thing they called "Lebensunwerten Liebe" which means in English, "Life unworthy of Life."
It was their justification for killing all the disabled and mentally ill. How far behind would be the old and infirm?
While I fully understand why someone in constant pain would want to end their life, I don't think it is a good idea to make it legal.
