We need a modern version of this.

A baseball game, and seeing stacks of disco records destroyed. Clearly one of the greatest nights in baseball history.
10 cent beer night in Cleveland runs a close second, though.

Still pissed that I missed that. Had to work too late that day to get down there in time.
There were people sliding down the foul ball netting from the upper deck. It would have been a gas.

We need a Democrat Demolition Night. Democrats suck!

I recall the late Ron Luciano discussing the incident and he said that the umpires got off the field quickly once things began to get out of hand as they would have been as popular as “Elvis Loved Disco” t shirts.

Why didn’t they do this to rap/hip hop instead ? I’d rather have disco back.

Disco sucks.
No matter what you call it, Disco sucks.
Disco has always sucked.
Disco will always suck.

I cannot stand that fat ass Steve Dahl.
The beginning of the real "Last Days of Disco". For better or worse.

Wonder what Barry White thought of DDN? IIRC much of his work showed disco influence, especially "My First, My Last, My Everything". And Barry was from Chicago where DDN happened.

Josh Harrison stops by after the White Sox double header with the Guardians to talk about how he prepared for the second game after losing the first. They were not the Guardians at that time. They were the Cleveland Indians. What would the LYING author of this do if he had to chronicle the history of Roy White, the New York Yankee outfielder who spent part of his minor league career with the Columbus, Georgia Confederate Yankees? A team that no longer exists, but never changed its name.
