(CNN)The US Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday authorized Novavax's Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use in adults. It is the fourth coronavirus vaccine available in the United States, and it uses a different type of vaccine technology than the shots already available.
Novavax's vaccine will be available as two-dose primary series for people 18 and older. The FDA's independent Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee voted in favor of authorization of the vaccine June 7, saying that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh its risks for adults. It is also being used in 170 other countries.

Not an RNA or DNA vaccine.
bkmk
Just got over COVID. While it was not pleasant, it was an almost flu like illness, the majority of the “hard” symptoms over by day 4. I have had a lingering productive cough, which a z-pack and a short course of prednisone helped clear up.
I am not going to get anymore vaccines or boosters. I may wear a mask during the winter on planes or in crowds, but that’s the end of my preventative measures towards COVID. It’s just really not that big of an effin deal.
Started my natural immunity back in Jan of this year. Similar 4 or 5 days bad sore throat and flu like. O2 level never dipped below 97.
Was going to get this jab but after going thru the recovery, it changed my mind.
If your dead you are safe from the VID.
So... Russia, China and Turkey are the last holdouts?
Not an mRNA vaccine... any reason to be leery of it?
I won’t be getting this one either
Yes, but it doesn’t hijack your RNA to make more spike proteins... meaning it’s a controllable amount. Question is whether the controllable amount is still dangerous. Everything is toxic. The question is always HOW toxic... or, what is the ratio of the deadly level to the beneficial level.
And what did that show?
Is that the one for seeing if you have T- Cell immunity?
The test i took required a score of >1 to be positive for kung flu anti bodies. My score was >150H
The woman at the facility was impressed and said, “your vaccine is working perfectly,” to which i replied, “I haven’t been vaccinated which is why i wanted to take the test.”
She immediately told me the results were a mistake and the test fouled up. That was until i told her i took an IgG test last August. In that test you had to score >14.1 to be anti-body positive. My score was 26.2H and my doctor could not believe i wasn’t vaccinated. When i asked what the “H” meant, my doctors office told me “High- you have huge amounts of anti-bodies.”
I told the woman from the my IgG test last month i trained for the Olympic decathlon for ten years starting when i was 11 YO and still work out hard (1.5 to 2 hours) every single day as well as take vitamin D, zinc, niacin and questrine (spell?).
She was forthright and honest with me. “You’re body is working perfectly and you have full anti-bodies. You’re one of only 3 or 4 cases i’ve come across the past year where an unvaccinated person has full anti-bodies.” Then she said something that shocked me, “Mr XXX, i am not your doctor but there is absolutely no reason for you to get vaccinated.”
One edition to my last post- I am in NY and the state in MILITANT against doctors who write vaccine exemptions or suggest people shouldn’t be vaccinated- which is why her suggestion not to get vaccinated was a shock.
Do you remember the name of the test?
Was it the T Detect test?
I did get the bug a year later, not fun but survivable.
I've been patiently waiting for the FDA approval of the protein subunit Novavax shot, and I'll get it as soon as it's available as a booster. The Novavax shot is safer and more effective against the wide range of covid variants, all with fewer (or no) side effects.
it was called an IGG test
Every member of the FDA that approved these things deserves to swing from a rope until dead. Serious. These gene therapies are killing people.
Thank you.
if you’ve not taken the vaccine you should get one to see where you are at. But make sure you tell them you want a test that puts a quantity on the number of anti-bodies you have or scores them. Don’t just get a positive/negative test.

Still keys off the same spike protein and has an undisclosed adjuvant.
No thanks.
