Last year, a liberal argued with me about wearing mask while exercising. She claimed that the idea that restricting breathing during exercise was bad had been “debunked.” Their fealty to the mask agenda is impervious to common sense. I don’t know that “the science” will fare better.

I still see many people using cloth masks. Unless these are frequently changed and washed they become germ laden and filthy. The porosity of cloth masks makes them far less effective than M-95 masks or even the disposable surgical masks. Many people have dumped the masks for various reasons, but I still see those who cling to their masks wearing them nonsensically outdoors and even when driving alone in their car. If you are immune compromised or have other medical conditions wear an M-95 mask and change it at least daily.

One way masks cause harm may be the “Foegen effect” — the idea that deep re-inhalation of droplets and virions caught on facemasks might make COVID-19 infection more likely or more severe

I have been making that point since the beginning. It’s obvious.

I’m having cancer treatment and masks are required once you enter any medical facility. Every doctor, tech and nurse I’ve spoken to agrees it is stupid and unnecessary but orders are orders.

Did you read the article? Masks are not only ineffective, but downright deadly. Even your precious “M-95” masks can kill you. Especially if you have contracted the virus. You just keep breathing the virus your body has expelled.

If I remember correctly, it is the buildup of CO2 that triggers us to exhale. While exhaled air has much more CO2 (35,000 to 50,000 ppm) than inhaled air, wouldn’t an increase from mask usage accelerate the need to exhale? Would doing that for hours each day be unhealthy?

I heard an interview with Bob Wolf, founder on HOPE skills [*Principal of the Year*]; maybe it was on the Levin radio show/WABC. Interesting

Yeah, I found I breathe harder when masked. I do worry about its effects on kids.

Masks hurt the ones we need most to protect, the children. They NEED to catch common virus and bacteria. Most of all though, they need to see faces and show theirs too. It is part of healthy development.
