Did you watch the entire 77 minutes?
I watched the part where the three guys ran away at the sound of gunfire.
I am still convinced that they were told it was a drill.
I saw different ones running back at least three times. And this was after gunfire. I think even one of the times there were were more heavily armed police dressed in Combat gear. It was a disgusting display of cowardice.
Don’t forget the SWAT in Albuquerque where they came in all military and flash banged the home, starting a fire that killed a 15 year old boy...turns out they had the wrong address....
They sure are brave behind their shields and military vehicles with full auto weapons and flash bangs when it’s unarmed innocents.
The government, particularly the left, is behind these mass shootings. They consider the sacrifice of your children to be a small price to pay for gun control.
His child was killed.
Should have sent in Navy Seals. Just don’t understand why they didn’t blow the door. They do it all the time for drug deals when they raid houses with shooters inside.
“It was a disgusting display of cowardice.”
That is possible but we need to know a lot more before being certain of that conclusion.
The police that were standing around (like hand sanitizer guy) seemed so relaxed, comfortable, even bored.
If you search on the Internet about school active shooter drills you will find that most people were (and are) unable to tell them from the real thing.
Uvalde cops had been through a drill just two months earlier:

I’m not buying that drill stuff one bit. As the 77 minute video progresses you see the shooter, then later one or two what look like school resource officers trickle in and then over the rest of the time more and more bunch up from outside. During this whole time there were parents, even one or more police offers who had children in there begging for the police to GO IN!
By your belief in the “drill” thing you’d also have to assume that those in charge and those officers holding back parents who were just “crisis actors” or something. There were a couple who were completely hysterical and had to be ‘detained.’ I’m not buying that for a New York minute.
Also, even in the very short clip where one of the first officers who went any ways at all down the hall quickly came back and for a time afterwards thought he might have gotten nicked in the head and wounded. It’s there plain as day. Does that sound to you like HE believed it was a drill?
Forget how that killer got in the school, forget the drill thing and look at the hierarchy and sequence. A school police force with a separate commander NOT in possession of even a radio with which to coordinate with other LE agencies and forces. Hell, to my knowledge NO radio at all. I don’t even recall seeing or hearing a radio on any of those ‘men’ inside the school.
IMO, a town with a completely overstaffed police force (TWO!
One for regular and one for schools AND a SWAT team) of only 15K people. And in the 77 minutes the only SWAT type thing I saw roll in was some guy with a bullet shield go down the hall to wait with some of the others.
This was incompetency and cowardice. And I believe the parents and people of Uvalde will do something about their LE and government in the near future.
Indeed. It's a pretty weak excuse for a bunch of useless cowards. Some folk will cling to even the thinnest thread to excuse police behavior.
I am not trying to excuse anything.
I just want all the facts before I accuse anyone of being a coward.
Free squirt....... Keeping hands clean while hanging around
waiting on instructions. A little squirt here, a little squirt there,
Some thought the local police held off because they had been told by superiors to stand down etc. Now we see THIS.
Yes, he is trying to wash the innocent blood off his hands, which will never come clean. Everyone should be ashamed and fired.
Uvalde Mayor Don McClaughlin has stated that in addition to the Uvalde and school PD’s, there were another eight agencies “in the hall” that day. We know that the Uvalde County Sheriff, Texas DPS, and US Customs and Border Patrol were all there. It has been reported that US Marshalls were also there. That’s only four.
We can make educated guesses on a couple more - DHS, FBI. That leaves a mystery as to the other two. Why were so many (federal) agencies on scene in a rural Texas town?
Q: How would federal agencies get there so fast to be “in the hall?” The nearest large city is San Antonio, 70 miles away.
A: Because it was a planned drill.
The video is pitiful. It was clearly an active shooter drill, to be later presented as a real event. The shooter looks like a chill guy walking anywhere. He doesn’t look panicked or deranged or angry or agitated. And the LE personnel all seem pretty calm. No panic, no frenzied or hectic behavior. The body language of all involved is...calm and mildly purposeful. Exactly how people would be acting in a planned practice scenario.
You are out lunch pal. You are a couple of fries short of a Happy Meal.
There is one more piece to this puzzle—often in these cases the drill happens at the same time and place as a real event.
Most participants think it is a drill—and only a few know it is for real.
That would explain the different types of reactions by different participants.
misspelled mayor’s name: McLaughlin is correct spelling.
"It was clearly an active shooter drill, to be later presented as a real event. "
