I did not forget the sarc tag. When it’s obvious, the tag can be construed as condescending.
This is the internet. It lacks emotional context. Today, people, even on FR, write outrageous things w/o a shred of irony.
I do not take the /s tag as condescending. I am grateful the author flagged it as such out of courtesy.
It marks the author as appreciative of the extremism so prevalent on the internet.
