Earlier this year I was in a hospital room. For 18 hours. No bathroom. No water. No food. No medicine. No TV. No service. Just hooked up to a machine.
So I unhooked myself from the machine, pulled out the unused IV line from my arm, got dressed and walked out.
I told the nurses I was going home to go take my medicine and go to sleep. They just said “bye”.
It was 4:30 in the morning.
My girlfriend ran into a crazy hospital problem. She collapsed at work but the hospital finally told her that her problem didn’t fit any of their medical conditions so she had to leave. Unfortunately, her aunt had shown up earlier to take her clothes and she was still partially paralyzed when the hospital told her she had to leave. So a kind fellow employee turned up to take her to his home and let her sleep on his sofa until she could move again. She pinned a note to her locker and put a large note in her purse that she was NEVER to be taken to that hospital again.
They do that in Korean dramas all the time. :)
null and voids your insurance, doesn’t it?
