The press cares about the death of Jamal Khashoggi - because he was ‘one of them’.

American’s aren’t.

The press doesn’t give a damn about the deaths of Americans unless they’re black (and can cause riots and anti-police memes) or if the deaths can further the cause of gun control.

Americans left in Afghanistan? They would piss on their graves before they’d write a word about them. Washington Post sucks. And the rest of ‘em too.

I generally agree with your sentiment about the MSM press.

The only reporting I hear is the occasional account of an exfiltration of a plane load or two from a regional airport organized by a private group and facilitated by the generous distribution of bribes to corrupt local Taliban “officials.”

Pretty much agree that the Biden administration just wants Afghanistan to go away.

Noticed too that there have been no consequences for any responsible. No firings, demotions - nothing. You can only conclude that the cabal got the results they wanted.
