The prophet Daniel was able to “look into the future” (I’m not sure that is actually how it works!) by about 500 years when he interpreted the King’s dream about the statue made of various materials, and his own dream of the various animals as being the various rulers of the region in the future.
Most theologians agree that the last part of the statue, and his last animal/monster (with 10 horns and iron teeth) was the Roman Empire (500 years before it was even a thing).
Now - whether America is in the scriptures I have no idea. If we are, we are no doubt in the “Sodom and Gomorrah” sections at the present moment.

The Word is not trapped in a linear time line
just finished studying the minor prophets and was astonished how the events parallel our current times (inflation, starvation, mad rulers, perverted justice, oppressive taxes....)
Since Revelation was probably written 100 or more years after Jesus’ death, the Roman Empire was already a “thing” and had been for a while. In fact, theologians generally agree that Revelation was definitely supposed to be about the Roman Empire and its corruption.
